In honor of Workforce Development Month this past September, Easy Day launched its first official campaign, Heroes Hired: Suit up for Success. We partnered with the Military and Veteran Services Center at the University of Las Vegas to provide 25 lucky current veteran students custom attire, resume review, interview preparation and networking opportunities to further their career and workforce journey.

During the past two months, we got to know these individuals on a personal level. Watching them get their custom outfits fitted in the clothing stores and hearing their stories about their time in service and their post service educational goals. We learned what inspired them to serve our country and about some challenges that veterans face reintegrating into society post-service. Hearing their stories was incredibly eye-opening and reaffirmed the urgent need for us to continue our mission.

The Heroes Hired Program ended with a veteran career fair hosted by the University of Las Vegas where our winners proudly attended in their new professional attire and had the opportunity to network with potential employers.

None of this would have happened without our gracious partners, Mastroianni Fashions and Vasari Las Vegas. We are grateful to our donors that helped make this campaign a reality.
